Riverside Accessibility Update

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

The Greater London Authority has obtained £4 million funding to upgrade sections of the Thames Path in Southwark and Lambeth to improve accessibility in the run up to next year's Olympic and Paralympics.

Works to the Thames Path will be taking place over the winter months of 2011 and are due to be completed by April 2012.

The works will cause disruption to the Thames Path route, and to businesses and residents who operate and live along and adjacent to the path.

The purpose of this session is to give as much information as possible to businesses and residents to help them understand what the level of disruption is likely to be and how the impacts of the works will be mitigated.
