A temporary ‘summer school’, with classes devised and facilitated by over 80 artists representing some 50 nations, including Anthony Caro (UK), Marlene Dumas (South Africa), Doris Salcedo (Columbia), Tracey Emin (UK), Thomas Hirschhorn (Switzerland), Dayanita Singh (India), Ernesto Neto (Brazil), Shimabuku (Japan) and Bob and Roberta Smith (UK).
Awide-ranging forum where artists lead and facilitate seminars, workshops, collaborative projects, lectures and performances about subjects they are passionate about.
Topics of classes will veer far from the concerns of traditional education, but whatever the subject, the goal is to provide participants with a direct experience of the diverse ways that artists think and ask questions.
