A series of solar plate etchings inspired by the topography and architecture of Rome. The work of printmaker Tessa Holmes, presents an abstract, but highly structured interpretation of famous Roman landmarks and buildings. A simple aerial perspective evokes a sense of "map", providing a visual journey across the city.
