Based on the Greek classic by Sophocles, specially adapted for young audiences by Nancy Harris and directed by Ellen McDougall.
Philoctetes has been deserted by Odysseus because he has a disgustingly smelly foot. Odysseus also left Philoctetes with a magical bow and arrow that he needs.
There is just one problem, Philoctetes is not happy about the fact he has been left stranded on an island with just a chorus of seashells for company. He also isnít too keen on giving the bow and arrow back.
A battle of morals ensues Ė is it best to be truthful and risk not getting something, or trick the other person in to doing what you think is right?
