For nearly 50 years printmaking courses at Morley College have developed the creativity and skills of artists who find that printmaking offers an exceptional range of possibilities for artistic expression.

The output of the group represented here includes prints produced using traditional methods familiar to earlier generations of printmakers. But alongside these are works that rely on digital techniques that are new and constantly evolving. Whatever the technique or techniques employed, each work is a highly individual artistic statement. In some cases, this comes from a close observation of the physical world, others draw deeply on subconscious associations or make bold and subtle abstractions of intriguing form and texture.

All the artists have exhibited in other galleries, including the Royal Academy, and several have been the recipients of distinguished awards. Their prints, each an original work of art, are highly collectable and remarkably inexpensive.
