Join the Living Memory heritage project for a tour of two centuries of theatres in the Waterloo area. We begin at The Old Vic, with its roots dating back to 1818; visit behind the scenes at a new theatre beneath Waterloo East station; and end at the Young Vic, its 1970s identity reinvented for the 21st century.

Whether or not you are a keen theatre goer, this walk will give you some surprising insights – and maybe even a new perspective - on places known and unknown near Waterloo Station.
