Fevered Sleep's enchanting show for 3 to 5-year-olds returns to the Young Vic this summer for a limited two-week run. Fevered Sleep are leading innovators in theatre-making and visual arts projects for children and Brilliant is an unforgettable introduction to theatre for young audiences combining movement, live music and captivating imagery to create a dreamlike world made of light.

First seen at the Young Vic in 2009, Brilliant is the final part of Fevered Sleep's trilogy for young audiences which includes Feast Your Eyes and And the Rain Falls Down - exploring everyday rituals as extraordinary creative events. It was nominated for the Best Show for Children and Young People TMA award in 2008.
Young Vic associate company Fevered Sleep has an international reputation for devising work that is both playful and profound, through surprising and intimate experiences that encourage people to see the world in new and unexpected ways. Past work includes The Weather Factory, a site-specific piece for National Theatre Wales and Young Vic co-productions Above Me The Wide Blue Sky, On Ageing and The Forest.

Brilliant is created by Fevered Sleep, directed by David Harradine and Sam Butler, designed by David Harradine and Ali Beale, with light by Jo Manser. It is performed by Laura Cubitt and David Leahy.
