This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

A chance to find out how scenic artists at the NT work with set designers and translate their vision into reality through painted backdrops, and textured or carved three dimensional scenery.

For the second part of the afternoon you will explore the skills and techniques used to create period styles and architecture and have a go marbling and wood graining!

Led by Hilary Vernon-Smith (Head of Scenic Art) and Lindsay Tuffnell (Scenic Artist)

Please wear suitable clothes for painting.
