A screening of the BFI's acclaimed restoration of Anthony Asquith's subterranean tale of love, jealousy and murder.

As London celebrates the 150th anniversary of the London Underground this year 'Underground' takes us back to the bustling public corridors and carriages of the 1920s, the behaviour of the passengers is strikingly familiar!

Providing the live and entirely improvised piano accompaniment is Costas Fotopoulos.

Costas has been working for many years as an improvising silent film pianist at BFI Southbank and has also accompanied silent films at the Barbican Centre, the Prince Charles Cinema, Riverside Studios, Chelsea Arts Club, the National Film and Television School and the Birkbeck Cinema among other venues.

The Club's exclusive bar and lounge are open for the enjoyment of ticketholders an hour before the screening commences and will remain open after the film.
