20 artists from the Southbank Printmakers present a selection of original prints using a variety of techniques including etchings, linocuts, woodcuts, lithographs, mezzotints and mono-prints – not to be confused with modern mass-produced processes.
Amongst the work are the figurative London-themed landscapes of Mychael Barrett, Chris Salmon’s humorous black and white etchings of goats and sheep, Sonia Rollo’s animal etchings, Pip Carpenter's vibrant coloured collographs and drypoints and Susie Perring’s bright, bold aquatints.
Visitors can learn more about various printmaking processes by examining original artists’ plates and blocks on display.
All prints are for sale.
South Bank Printmakers is a co-operative located at nearby Gabriel’s Wharf.
