Kaleidoscope

An exhibition of photographs from Katy Vetch.

Kaleidoscope is a translation of a world explored through subconscious seeing. The camera is used as a tool to reveal moments of 'ordinary beauty' captured within its format. The artist experiences the world through her journeys, the entangled branches in the woods behind her house, to a flight cabin high above the Indian Ocean. The camera acts as her passport into new terrains, that when back in her studio, the images discovered reveal themselves in unexpected ways.
