Closing the Museum's Winter Jazz Serie with two sublime but contrasting mellow groups for a great Double Bill. The Rosabella Trio are a london-based group featuring the amazing vocal talents of Rosabella Gregory, who combines the essence of some of todays' finest female singers, like Tori Amos and Sarah McLachlan, with the old school class of Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone. In contrast, the Sarah Bennett Quintet create an ethereal ambience of Englishness. Their lilting compositions feature the unique vocals of Sarah Bennett, who utilises her voice in wonderful ways, really extending the boundaries, but always creating something equally beautiful and amazing. For lovers of sublime vocalists, this is a night not to be missed.
