Women's Day Walk with CoolTan Arts Largactyl Shuffle

Join CoolTan Arts Largactyl Shuffle for a guided walk from Bankside to Waterloo celebrating International Women's Day and exploring women's history.

The walk will include short talks on the writer, philosopher and advocate for women's rights, Mary Wollstonecraft; Olive Morris, who set up the Brixton Black Women's Group; the painter and multimedia artist Sonia Boyce; the artist and suffragette Mary Lowndes, the boxing promoter Bella Burge and many more.

The walk includes a visit to the Feminist Library along the way.

CoolTan Arts Largactyl Shuffle is a fun guided cultural walk for mental and physical wellbeing.

Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water. The walk is accessible to wheelchair users and people with disabilities.

The walk leaders wear orange high-viz vests and rucksacks. Call CoolTan Arts on 07985 658443 if you cannot find the group of walkers on the day. All are welcome.
