Come and Play with Southbank Sinfonia

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

It was almost called the Napoleon Symphony. But Beethoven struck out the name of its dedicatee when he lost faith with the path that France's military leader was taking. Instead, the famous 'Eroica' symphony celebrates the hero in all of us: and you can be a hero yourself by coming to play with Southbank Sinfonia!

Amateur players of all ages are welcome to sign up for a place.

Recommended standard: Grade 5 and above. If you cannot be tempted to play, join the rousing free performance at 1pm.

10am Rehearsal
1pm Free performance
