Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga, Archbishop of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, gives the 2015 Archbishop Romero Lecture.

Cardinal Maradiaga is coordinator of the Council of Cardinal Advisers which Pope Francis has established to examine the workings of the Vatican.

The cathedral has a huge three-dimensional painted Salvadoran Cross as a permanent memorial in Southwark to Archbishop Oscar Romero who was assassinated in El Salvador in 1980 whilst celebrating Mass.
