St Thomas' Church attic (1703), once part of old St Thomas' Hospital, houses the Herb Garret and Britain's only surviving 19th-century operating theatre.
The museum normally charges a £6.50 admission fee but can be visited for free for one day only as part of Open House London
Space in the museum is very limited and queues are expected.
