Science Busking

The Royal Research Vessel 'Discovery' is moored alongside HMS Belfast till Sunday.

The National Oceanography Centre, part of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) will be bringing a series of "Science Busking" events to Potters Fields Park to engage with the public and show the amazing work being undertaken by the six research centres operated by the NERC and their many working partners.

These activities will be giving visitors an insight into the amazing works being undertaken and encourage the younger generation to understand that Science is for all.

World leading scientists will be on hand to talk about their work and the breakthroughs being made every day.
