Last year Southwark's planning committee introduced the Liberty of the Mint Conservation Area.

The new conservation area includes all of the buildings in Sanctuary Street, Vine Yard, Toulmin Street, Bittern Street, Weller Street, Trundle Street, Caleb Street and Quilp Street.

Parts of Borough High Street, Marshalsea Road, Lant Street, Sudrey Street, Redcross Way and Great Suffolk Street also fall within the area.

Now local residents, businesses and interested groups are invited to comment on the designation of the conservation area.
