An Act of Regret Remembrance Restoration at Cross Bones Graveyard

A short service conducted by Southwark Cathedral to celebrate the Feast Day of St Mary Magdalene and to express the Church's regret for past wrongs, remembrance of the Crossbones outcasts and restoration of their garden.

Last year, the Dean of Southwark led the clergy and congregation in procession to Crossbones Garden, which was blessed by the church for the first time in its history.

This year, the Revd Imogen Vibert will conduct the service. People of all faiths and none welcome.

If you'd like to join the procession, arrive at the Cathedral around 12 noon, to join it when it leaves at 12.15pm. Or you can go to Crossbones Garden to welcome it when it arrives at approximately 12.30pm.
