This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

A peal of bells will be attempted in honour of Christopher Hughes to mark the centenary of his death in the First World War.

All are welcome to come inside and visit the church where you can learn more about Rifleman Christopher Henry Hughes (former bell ringer of St George the Martyr) and share in refreshments.

Or you may wish to pay your respects to those who lost their lives in conflict or say a prayer for peace. All are welcome.
