17th May - Slapstick Sports Day at Borough Market
What: A revival of the historic market sports day, paying homage to legendary patron and local character, Charlie Chaplin. Teams of four can sign up to take part in a cabbage holding contest, race with loaves of bread balanced on their heads or try their hand at the classic egg and spoon competition. Compered by glamorous assistants and a Chaplin lookalike on hand, of course.
