Blessing of Trees

Canon Giles Goddard of St John's Waterloo will be on the Queen's Walk, near to the grass outside the London Television Centre at the IBM end to bless the trees that would be felled if the Garden Bridge went ahead.

Local people have been researching the history of the trees planted along the South Bank including possible connections to a planned war memorial to civilian victims of wartime bombing.
