Paterson Park Celebrations

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Paterson Park first opened in 1953. In recent years it has been remodelled following the construction of the City of London Academy. Come along to this event to celebrate the completion of the new-look green space.

The Eveline Lowe Primary School Brass Band will play in advance of the ribbon cutting at 2pm by the Mayor of Southwark, Cllr Paul Kyriacou.

The afternoon's entertainment includes a tea dance, balloon modelling, face painting and a bouncy castle and after-schools sports sessions on the new multicourt.

Also attending will be local Councillors, representatives from local organisations and housing associations - come along and find out how they can help you.

Teas and light refreshments will be available.

The Paterson Park Improvement Scheme was funded by Southwark Council, South Bermondsey Partnership, City of London Academy (Southwark) and Bermondsey Community Council.
