Circulus plus Spanner Jazz Punks

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

The UK's finest medieval folk band, Circulus combine the sounds of Seventies prog rock, medieval chamber music, and avant-garde folk rock. Their debut album, The Lick On The Tip Of An Envelope Yet To Be Sent, was described as a mix between Jethro Tull, Emerson, Lake, And Palmer, and Blackmore's Night, while their second, Clocks Are Like People, continued in this rich weird prog synth vein. Amazing stuff - and truly fitting the amazing atmospheric vaults of the Museum. In support are eclectic North London-based big bands, the Spanner Jazz Punks, who traverse musical styles, pulling in jazz, punk, prog, and lots of things in between.
