There is a sense of expectation about Pierre Bergian's first London exhibition. His paintings are small, clean-lined and meticulous. Bergian's small paintings 'portray empty spaces and poetic voids where no human figure is visible,' writes Dan Kotek. 'This lends the works a mysterious and surreal air. The furnishings of his interiors are very sparse, leading us to question their relationship to absent inhabitants.'
