Design Your Own Garden Workshop

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Each child will be asked 'What's your perfect garden? Where would it be, and what would be in it: flowers, giant snails, or a football pitch?'

Over a series of three morning workshops each child will work with artist sisters Merrie and Edwina Ashton to make a book expressing their ideas in shapes, words, colours and artwork - and take it away with them. It will give children the chance to show how they imagine the look, experience and sensation of what is to them - not to adults - the ideal garden.

For ages 8-10: Parents and guardians should drop children off at 10am and collect them at 12 noon prompt. Parents/guardians must fill in a consent form which includes their contact details, before dropping children off on the first day of a workshop.
