An exhibition of forty photographs offering new perspectives of iconic scenes and capturing unknown facets of the river's identity as it runs through idyllic rural backwaters to central London and out via the Thames Estuary into the North Sea.
By focusing on the particulars - of eyots, bridges and weirs, of plant life and ornamentation and on the water itself, with its reaches eddies and refractions - these pictures eschew the cliches to illuminate the familiar in unexpected ways.
