Creating Copper Insects

Bill Hudson will be running a free family workshop for families with children aged 5 to 11 creating embossed Dragonflies and Butterflies using copper foil, stick on gems and nail varnish for an enamel effect on the copper.

There will be a chance for participants to explore the 'curiosities' in the contemporary art exhibition Repatriating the Ark (on until 29 October), with particular reference to Tessa Farmer's artwork in the museum's chancel area, 'The Court of the Fairy'.

Booking is recommended as space is limited.
