Family Rarrk Day

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Anyone under the age of 13 and their families can join in to make art inspired by the fantastic shapes and brilliant designs of the works of art, to make their own RARRK-style collages and drawings. We will use art made from the everyday objects around us - just as the RARRK artists use bark, tree trunks, and natural pigments from their local environment - only we will be using egg boxes, newspaper, adverts, and packaging.

The workshop will be led by Ben Street, who has been an arts educator for the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Ben is currently an educator for the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery, and the Hayward Gallery, as well as a teaches the history of art at the Westminster School in London.
