However we are not able to hear the story that the boy Mamillius whispers into his mother's ear in The Winter's Tale. From the very earliest of winters, people have huddled in safety, shelter and warmth to delight in letting their imaginations roam, whilst the weird and wonderful stalk the shadows beyond. Master tellers of traditional tales Hugh Lupton, Sally Pomme Clayton and Ben Haggarty, the original Company of Storytellers, invite an adult audience to gather in the Globe before embarking on an evening of tales told in rooms around and about the Globe.
