Carol Chillington Rutter delivers the International Shakespeare Globe Fellowship Lecture.

Shakespeare wrote more than fifty parts for children, producing in them the English theatre's first comprehensive portrait of childhood. This talk will explore some of those parts, the boys who played them, and the way the child's role regularly takes us to the heart of Shakespeare's mystery.
