Beginning with the Lambs' Tales from Shakespeare, Professor Laura Tosi will explore the context of several prose versions of Shakespeare's plays including Cowden Clarke's 1852 The Girlhood of Shakespeare's Heroines. The talk will also highlight some of the main technical' issues that face any writer who rewrites the plays for children.
