Rangoli patterns are a traditional art form where colourful designs are drawn on the path or entrances of houses to welcome guests during the Festival of Lights.

This year children from Schools across North London and community centres were invited to participate in a floor Rangoli at City Hall.

Leena Pattni, an artist from Harrow led this exciting visual arts project, which brought together many Hindu groups to create the 108 images.
