Peter Hall brings his acclaimed production of Bernard Shaw's enduring classic Pygmalion to The Old Vic.
Tim Pigott-Smith returns to The Old Vic stage for the first time since his memorable performance in The Iceman Cometh in 1998 and London audiences will also have the opportunity to discover a remarkable new talent in Michelle Dockery as Eliza Doolittle. Tony Haygarth, Pamela Miles and Una Stubbs will also reprise their roles.
Henry Higgins (Tim Pigott-Smith) is the arrogant Professor of Phonetics who makes a bet with his friend Colonel Pickering that he can turn Cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle (Michelle Dockery), into a duchess.
