Satoko Oda was born in 1979. She started to study music at the age of 4 and piano when she was 8. She graduated from Miyagi Gakuin women's college in 2003 and stayed at the college as a research student for 2 years afterwards. She would often play as a soloist at the college concerts. The first solo recital took place in 2005. From the last September she has studied piano at Royal Academy of Music with Katheryn Stott. Satoko Oda took the first prize at Sanet Music Drama Festival.
