Aunt Esther's Story (2007) by Stephen Bourne and True Pioneer: The British Films of Paul Robeson (2007) - 15 min. & 20 min.

The evening will be introduced by Stephen Bourne with a discussion afterwards.

Aunt Esther's Story: Using family photographs and archive footage, Stephen Bourne tells the story of his aunt, a working-class Black Londoner born before the First World War.

Please use the Turbine Hall entrance and staff will direct you to the Starr Auditorium from there. Free refreshments will be available before the film.

Membership of the Community Film Club is primarily aimed at those living and working in Southwark and Lambeth. To become a member (it's free) call 020 7401 5176, email [email protected] or join on the night.
