Doggett's Coat and Badge Race

This annual sporting event was established by Irish actor Thomas Doggett in 1715 to mark the coronation of George I.

Traditionally rowed by six watermen who had just completed their apprenticeship; it is one of the oldest rowing races in the world.

Starting at London Bridge at 12.45pm, concluding at Chelsea's Albert Bridge.
