Nigel Green and Robin Wilson work in a collaborative art and photo-text documentary practice called Photolanguage, which they established in 2000 to work on exhibition and article projects about architecture and landscape. Their talk will be a lavishly illustrated account of the use of plants in their work, focusing on previous exhibitions in Calais, Gloucester and Copenhagen.
They will specifically discuss winter botany in the urban landscape and plants will be studied in relation to specific architectural contexts, using photography, text and samples collected from the city.
A selection of original works will be on display for the evening.
