London Parks and Gardens Trust lecture by Sarah Couch.

When the north shore of the Thames was embanked in 1870 a new public park came into being, designed by Alexander McKenzie. Sarah Couch, who has written a conservation assessment for the 'Vision for the Victoria Embankment', will talk about its history, present state and future prospects.
