This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Nick Yarris - exonerated from Death Row in the USA in 2004 - will discuss Shakespeare's savage play, Titus Andronicus, and its brutal exploration of revenge as part of Globe Education's series of events to investigate The Edges of Rome this summer.

Nick Yarris is a representative for Reprieve - Shakespeare's Globe's Charity Partner for 2006. Reprieve is a UK charity which fights for the lives of people facing the death penalty and other human rights violations. Yarris' talk is a unique opportunity to hear a response to the play which directly relates to his experience of being wrongly accused, sentenced and imprisoned for 23 years.
