Founded in 1995, the Beijing Modern Dance Company (BMDC) is a repertory troupe of 14 dancers. Having already performed in Asia, Europe and the Americas, BMDC is about to make its UK debut.
The company's repertory draws on a broad range of influences, from folk dance and martial arts to classical ballet and Chinese opera, as well as contemporary dance techniques.
