An illustrated talk on the history of entertainment in the Elephant & Castle area, plus screening of The Elephant Will Never Forget, a short film from 1953 on the final week of tram services at the Elephant & Castle.

Followed by feedback from the audience.

Presented in partnership with the Cinema Theatre Association and in connection with the unveiling of a plaque on the site of the former Trocadero and Odeon in New Kent Road.

Membership of the Community Film Club is primarily aimed at those living and working in Southwark and Lambeth.
