Formed in 1931 by the organist and educational visionary, Ernest Read, ERSO is one of London's leading community orchestras. Formerly best known for its children's concerts, it now performs a range of ambitious repertoire to an impressive standard, giving five concerts every season in venues across London. The Orchestra champions developmental opportunities for emerging conductors and performers and remains committed to giving concerts for children.
