As the band strikes up and the glitter-ball twirls, the bandstand is brought to life by glamorous dancing couples from the 1920s to the 1950s. Based on true stories, Shall We Dance? transports the audience back to a time when the intricate rituals of courtship were played out in grand ballrooms and village halls.
