Best of CoolTan Arts at St John's Waterloo

New works by artists from the CoolTan Arts workshops in Walworth.

CoolTan Arts is a charity which exists to inspire creativity and to promote mental well being through the production of quality art. Artists working with paint, photography and collage have been selected for this show and the contemplative space within the church gives viewers a special chance to engage with the work.

The exhibition highlights the range and ambition of work produced at CoolTan and includes pieces by Noriko Ogawa, Hilary Atkinson and Nigel Hague William Ball's was also selected for his portrait of Maggi Hambling - a vibrant tribute to the artist.

Maggi Hambling serves as a patron at CoolTan Arts. In the past she has suffered with depression and participants in the workshop have also all experienced mental distress. CoolTan's Art workshops are funded by Community Care and through donations.
