Green Man Stage

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

In the heart of Potters Fields Park can be found the magically decorated Green Man Stage, which aims to raise deep environmental and social awareness through a unique programme of world music, inspirational speakers and artistic performances. The theme this year is Cultural Diversity, and its importance for Humanity and the Earth.

The stage, powered entirely by renewable energy, will form part of a specially designed space featuring indigenous art and photography, a children's creative area and the Global Village, with information and campaigns on urgent social and environmental justice issues around the world.

Presented by Green Man Arts, in association with Greenpeace, Survival International, The Gaia Foundation and Resurgence Magazine.
