Poet Laureate Andrew Motion, Professor Jon Stallworthy and Professor Paul O'Prey will discuss how poetry shaped the memory of those who fought in the Great War and the perceptions of the later generations. Poems will be read by descendents of Wilfred Owen, Isaac Rosenberg and Robert Graves.
