A collection of unusual photographic images of celebrities - embellished and hand-signed by the subject portrayed - is on display in the champagne bar.
The celebrities featured include comedians Jack Dee and Jimmy Carr, rugby icons Martin Johnson CBE and Willie John McBride MBE, SE1 resident Kevin Spacey, Jeff Goldblum and Ricky Gervais. All are participating in Larger Than Life to create awareness of palliative care for the terminally ill and raise funds for Trinity Hospice.
Taking 'life and laughter' as his theme, renowned portrait photographer Rich Hardcastle is creating a series of remarkable black and white photographs that capture, slightly off guard, the personality and mood of the sitter during a reflective moment.
The celebrity then adds his or her personal message - a quote, a witty remark, or philosophical comment - to the original photograph and hand signs each of the 50 large (32 x 32 inches) limited edition prints that are subsequently produced.
The hand-signed limited edition prints, ranging in price from 400 to 500, come mounted, ready for framing, and with a certificate of authenticity. These collectors' items - ideal as Christmas gifts for the man who has everything - will be on public exhibition across London.
