Shakespeare's Globe's annual seasonal celebration of the Southwark community through song and music.

The theme this year is 'The Voices of Southwark' inspired by the International Year of Languages and the fact that over 100 different languages are spoken in the borough.

School and community groups have been invited to perform songs and music on the Globe stage. The schools taking part include Friars Primary School; Goodrich Primary School; Harris Girls' Academy; Highshore School; Michael Faraday Primary School; Riverside Primary School; St. James CE Primary School; St. Thomas the Apostle College; Surrey Square Junior School.

Other school groups include the Gifted & Talented Company which is a selection of students involved in the borough's Gifted & Talented scheme who regularly come together as a theatre company at Shakespeare's Globe and Southwark EIP Community Youth Theatre - a group of 25 8-11 year olds who comprise a Youth Theatre at Shakespeare's Globe.

The schools will be performing alongside choirs from Southwark Metropolitan Police Community Choir; Southwark Muslim Women's Association Choir and staff members from Shakespeare's Globe.

The concert is sponsored by SJ Berwin.
