Lionel is just a little boy and has only been king for twenty four hours. Under strict orders to never open The Book of Beasts, he just can't resist temptation. Surely one little peek wouldn't hurt? When Lionel opens the book, he accidentally unleashes a wicked red dragon that terrorises his faithful subjects. Now it's up to King Lionel to save his kingdom from the dragon.
This new production, based on the story by E Nesbit, much-loved author of The Railway Children and Five Children and It, will be a fun-filled, magical adventure for everyone aged five and over.
